sleep, and makes the brain brighter.
· Ayurveda also prohibits sleeping with the head facing west. If
you sleep with your head facing west, you will not get deep sleep at night.
Vastushastra says that sleeping with the head in this direction can lead to bad
dreams and may keep you restless throughout the night. In scriptures too,
sleeping facing west is considered inauspicious.
· According to Vishnu and Vamana Puranas, if you sleep with your
head towards the West or North direction, your life will decrease.

Sleeping on the right side may bring up food, water or air. And it can come out of your nose or nostrils while you sleep. Or some of its particles can accumulate in the lungs.
