Health Benefits of Granulated Sugar
We all have granulated sugar at

The method of making granulated
sugar is simple. Make a super saturated paste of sugar and add string to it and
keep it to cool. As the mixture cools, large boulder-like (shapeless) crystals
of sugar begin to form around the cord. This is what we know as rope granulated
sugar. Sometimes milk is also added to the pak while making khadisakhar. It was
also mentioned at one place that coconut water is used for making pak while
making khadisakhar for religious rituals. Nowadays, granulated sugar of a
specific shape is also available, made without the use of rope.
