REBIRTH OR REINCARNATION
REINCARNATION: A SCIENTIFIC APPROACH
You see life and death every day. It is a cycle in which
one person is born and another person dies but between death and life many unsolved mysteries are very difficult to understand and whenever we
start to understand something we automatically start asking many such
questions. That makes things more complicated. This is why what happens between
death and life remains an inexplicable mystery. The human body is made up of
millions and billions of cells. Many types of bacteria are also growing in the
body. Every cell and bacteria is alive by itself. Every moment cells and
bacteria are dying and new ones are being born. Will these cells and bacteria
regenerate?
If we think carefully, it does not seem logical to say that the
ocean wave merged with the ocean, the water merged with the water and the
second wave arose as a rebirth of the first wave. Similarly, the Jiva also
merges with Panchamahabhuta after death and a new Jiva is born from the ocean
of Panchamahabhuta i.e. from this creation. It is difficult to say whether this
body has any relation to the previous one.
The Physical Body and Mind of the Five Elements
First of all, people believe that their body is made up of five
elements which include water, air, earth, fire, and sky. Everyone knows this
even in general terms that one day we want to merge with the five elements that
our body is made of. But since our soul is always immortal, it must have
incarnated on this earth in the form of some other life. Because the soul
cannot be killed by a weapon or any other weapon. Our soul lives on even after
our death, although it wanders for a while after death. But after a certain
period, the soul enters another body. But in what form a man will be
born in the next birth depends only on his actions in the present birth. What
does it mean to say that the body continues to dissolve and the Atma tattva is
reborn when the Atma is one and the same everywhere. It exists in a form within
a living organism. If living beings are reborn, then every living being must
also be reborn.
If it is said that reincarnation is of the soul and not of the
soul, is there a difference between soul and soul? So, is this soul not in
trees, plants, or inanimate objects? The living is always dependent on the
living, and the living has latent life in it, just as the whole tree is
contained within the seed. Therefore, the soul is present in one form in the
past.
WHOSE REINCARNATION?
If the body contains other bacteria and cells, are there many
souls in one soul? When one soul dies, do they all die, and do they also
reincarnate later? Many questions are difficult to answer based
on the theory of reincarnation. Basically, man's attachment to his life does not
seem to be lost. The merging of our life with the Panchamahabhuta does not mean
the end of our life. So he experiences the rebirth of his death through the
cycle of birth and death. Our scriptures also agree with this because firstly the
jiva should not feel his life is meaningless and secondly he should not be
arbitrary in this life for fear of rebirth and try to make the next life good
by his actions.
If our life is limited to this body then why do the scriptures
not allow us to consume things. Why are the scriptures inspiring us only to
penance and sacrifice? This is because consumption gives the body pleasure for
a short time and consumption reduces the body's capacity.
Tapa and renunciation are like bitter medicines which keep the
body, mind, and intellect strong and also give eternal happiness. The principle
of reincarnation has been formulated to place deep faith in life and to
increase the significance of this life. But we have accepted reincarnation as
so true that we find it futile to think otherwise.
Scientific Aspects of Reincarnation
Reincarnation is not just a religious doctrine today. This has
been done concretely in many universities and parapsychological research
institutes around the world. At present, this is not a superstition but is
accepted as a scientific fact. Much evidence exists today to prove returns. The
biggest proof of this is the principle of conservation of energy. According to
the universally accepted conservation principle of science, energy is not
destroyed in any state, only the form of energy can change. That is, just as
energy cannot be destroyed, consciousness cannot be destroyed. In scientific
terms, consciousness can be called a pure state of energy. Consciousness can
only leave one body and enter a new body. This is also the principle of
rebirth. The only difference between physical
energy and soul energy is that soul energy has consciousness whereas physical
energy is devoid of consciousness. The true meaning of reincarnation is that
the soul takes a new body according to its needs. Our physical body is made up
of five elements: earth, water, fire, air, and sky. After death, the body merges
again into these five elements. Due to some reason, need, or situation this soul
leaves the body and is freed. After liberation for a certain period,
the soul again acquires a new body according to its previous karma and rituals.
The soul has to go through the cycle of birth and death unless all past karmas
and samskaras are completely destroyed. Should we reject reincarnation stories
that prove reincarnation? The answer is that through this conscious body, we
experience many things that we have never seen or will happen in the future.
Many dreams give us a foretaste of the future. Even science has accepted that
the past or the future can be seen or experienced.
Just as a child knows, without seeing, that the bell rings when
his father returns from work. For example, as soon as the phone rings, we know
it is so-and-so's call. Precognition is a quality of the conscious body that we
begin to understand ourselves. Understanding the existence of the living entity
in this body is like feeding the idol of Ganesha.
THE DOCTRINE OF REINCARNATION
After all, the theory of reincarnation has been proposed to
explain the nature of life to the common man. Atman is immortal and
omnipresent. Cannot one who is immortal take rebirth? The mortal body merges
with the Panchamahabhuta and the birth of the second body is logically
unrelated to the first body. Our devotion to the scriptures alone is an
obstacle to rejecting the doctrine of reincarnation.
According to belief, most ancestors want to reincarnate in your
family. At the time of death, the will of your ancestors causes you to be
reincarnated at home. She may be born as your son your son's son or your daughter's son. Besides, it can also take birth in your family or clan. But it
all depends on your karma, if you have done very bad karma then you cannot take
birth in your old family because of not taking human birth. Overall, your
destiny is tied to your actions.
Summary
Reincarnation
is an incomprehensible puzzle. Science says that there is no system of
reincarnation in this universe and medical science says that reincarnation
happens. Reincarnation is also accepted in most religions. But overall it is
still difficult to understand whether a person can be reborn after death or
not? According to Hindu belief, there is reincarnation, but no person can take
another birth immediately after death. If Hindu beliefs are to be believed, the
soul continues to roam in this environment even after death. Wanders in places
like heaven and hell. But one day he wants to get a body. Astrology maintains
this point more strongly. What is called prarabdha in religion, meaning the
results of past deeds, is a part of astrology. Therefore, almost all forms of
astrology accept reincarnation. This Vidya believes that whatever actions we
take in our life, some of them bear fruit in life itself and some are related
to our destiny. As a result of these karmas, when planetary conditions arise in
the universe, that soul takes birth again. This process can take years or
decades.
